I note that comments were disabled.

I can't think why.

But they're smirking. It's all a bit self-consciously done.

No Nurse, one of those seemed like a good idea at the time events. A bit like the West Ham kit launch debacle.

Or pears.

I have 3 punnets of blackberries which I have hidden from my daughter. I want to make a cake with them tomorrow.

I remember this ad at the time. Surprisingly, it wasn't a spoof

Finished work with a headache and the intention to have an early night. Opening a bottle of wine may have been a mistake. Should have bought apples instead. :-(

I'm trust you'll be fine as long as you can stay away from family.

Another missed opportunity: "Look at this Christmas tree. It's not as gay as me, but it's still great value for money..."

WTF?

They didn't even make a pun out of "hardware"?

So many missed opportunities.

Never put Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen in charge of your advertising campaign.

Johnson: Good to see you happy in your sexuality and your work.

They definitely missed a trick not getting NR in on that.

"Hi I'm Nurse Ratched and my fou-fou is as cold and inhospitable as the Russian Steppes in January. I shop at Robert Days just to feel."

It's from 2015 dagger, life was simpler back then.

Re: FAO: Nurse Ratched
Apparently there was previously a similar American furniture store ad which became popular and was about race not sexuality. It's just as bizarre but probably not deliberately so.

This is just a spoof and/or blatant ripoff in a fairly successful attempt at viral marketing.
